Bridal subscription boxes have been around for a few years now. But what is a bridal subscription box, how do you choose which one to go for, and is it worth the money? In this guide we have all the answers.
What Is A Bridal Subscription Box?
A bridal subscription box is a box of goodies regularly delivered to you. They’re usually delivered monthly, and give options for the amount of time you’d like to receive them. Some subscriptions offer a set box for each bride where others change every month.
Bridal subscription boxes include a whole range of items. This could be anything from stationary to help plan your wedding, bridal and bridal party accessories, venue decorations, wedding favour ideas and even mugs and glasses!
How To Choose The Right Box
With so much choice on the market, picking the right bridal subscription box for you can seem like a huge task. But, we think there are just three main things to consider.
1. What style of box would you like?
Do you want more planning stationary than hen party accessories? Would you like to know what you’ll receive in each box, or is a surprise more your thing? Reading what each subscription box offers and looking at past boxes will help to make this decision.
2. How long would you like to receive the box for?
Some subscriptions offer a one off box, where others have options for 3, 6 or 12 months. You’ll not want to receive the box after your wedding, so make sure you choose the subscription period that best suits you. (A one off box can also be a great way to try it out!)
3. How much would you like to spend?
Weddings can become very expensive very quickly if you don’t keep track of your spending. The boxes are generally £20 to £30 each, but you can get discounts for longer subscriptions. Before you begin to look at a bridal subscription box, decide what your budget is.
With these three questions answered, choosing the right box will be so much easier.
Is It Worth The Money?
Finally, are the bridal subscription boxes worth the money? If you like the surprise of the box and you’ve chosen the right one, then yes. You’ll get some amazing items each month that are completely relevant to you and your day. There may be the odd item you don’t find useful, but these can generally be passed on to other brides to be.
If you’d rather be in full control of everything you purchase for your day, then a subscription box may not be the best way to go.
