I was invited to the Opening night of Boutique 1428 last week.
It was such a lovely evening, everyone was commenting on how nice it was. The weather stayed warm for us which is always a positive. It meant we could sit in the courtyard for the whole evening.
It took place at the round tower, part of the pot house hamlet in Silkstone.
So much thought and time had gone into the preperaton of this event. As we drove up to the car park, the path was lined with yellow rose petals leading down the steps and into the shop. At the end of the trail was a lovely glass of champagne and a huge variety of different home made nibbles.
We spent the majority of the evening by candle light with our glasses of bubbly.
The atmosphere was so relaxed, and people began to try on some of the gorgeous dresses available. They were absolutely stunning, even if some were held together with a variety of clips! All the dresses are exclusively in sizes 14 – 28. There are also a range of shoes, tiara, veils and sparkles. I absolutely loved it.
While I was there I was lucky enough to be able to speak to a wonderful florist, Beautiful Floral Styling. I’ve met her in the past and her arrangements are stunning.
Before we all left, we were discussing the possibilities of having another open evening around Christmas time. Keep checking back for more information on that!
