Kayleigh & Jack | Owston Hall Hotel, Doncaster - Charlotte Elizabeth Photography

Kayleigh and Jack had a stunning September wedding at Owston Hall Hotel in Doncaster. Their family and friends surrounded them with smiles and laughter all day, in spite of the weather.

On the morning of the wedding I met Kayleigh in the wedding preparations room at Owston Hall. It was a gorgeous space with tonnes of natural light and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Breakfast was well under way, and the ladies were busy having their hair and makeup done.

A couple of rooms away was the wedding ceremony suite. This was my first time photographing at Owston Hall, and while I had done a site visit I wasn’t quite prepared for how beautiful it would be when fully dressed. Everything was done to perfection, and the chandelier in the middle of the room sparkled with the reflections from the main window.

Downstairs, Jack was busy getting ready with his groomsmen. Every room was full of nervous excitement. Soon it was time for the groom’s party to head out into the main hotel and greet the arriving guests.

The ceremony was beautiful. Kayleigh & Jack had chosen a live singer to perform during the ceremony and it was such a unique touch. Everyone teared up as they exchanged vows and rings. Afterwards we all went outdoors to capture a big group photograph and the atmosphere changed to a complete celebration feel!

Unfortunately, the rain started to pour so we all headed back indoors. However, Owston Hall is so beautiful we managed to capture the main family portraits in one of their beautiful rooms upstairs. The day seemed to fly by after the formal photographs were completed, and soon we were all on the dancefloor following the first dance.

All too soon it was time for me to say goodnight, and I left Kayleigh and Jack on the dancefloor together.
