Wedding Inspiration | Bridgerton Styled Shoot at Rogerthorpe Manor

In April I had the pleasure of working with some of my favourite wedding suppliers on a Bridgerton inspired styled shoot at Rogerthorpe Manor.

The initial plan was to use the beautiful grounds at Rogerthorpe, but the weather had very different ideas for us. Instead we used the bright, wooden floored conservatory for the entirety of the day. It couldn’t have gone better.

Rogerthorpe Manor is a beautiful venue, and the obvious choice for a Bridgerton inspired shoot. They have stone work in the grounds (and the option to be married outdoors) as well as well kept flower beds and trimmed lawns. The big double conservatory doors lead out onto the grass and let in tonnes of light to the space too.

The pale blue dress we chose, Ariane by Sophia Tolli, was provided by Cupid Connections in Barnsley. We wanted to keep the soft pastel colours that are associated with the show, and it was a perfect contrast to the red hair colour of our model, Laura.

Nicola Whitfield MUA made sure that Laura’s hair and makeup was pristine on the day, and Michelle from Olive May Floristry provided all the floral arrangements.

The cake (which was delicious as always) was one of Katrina’s Bespoke Cake’s creations. The details in the sugar flowers were incredible – she really is an artist, it’s hard to believe they’re not real.

Finally, Sheaf Design Works created all the stationery used on the day. It was the finishing touch and pulled all the other elements together.

Despite the rain we managed to create some beautiful images, and it was a complete joy to collaborate with everyone.
