The Bluebell Banqueting Suite Wedding
Ann & Barclay had a fantastic, fun wedding day at Bluebell Banqueting Suite Barnsley this summer.
On the morning of their wedding I met Ann in her hotel room at Fairway Pub. She’d spent the night there with her sisters and niece, who were all bridesmaids. Barclay had also stayed the evening before, so I split my time between the two rooms capturing both the bride and groom getting ready. The morning flew by, and it was soon time to walk across to the Bluebell Banqueting Suite for the ceremony.
The ceremony room had been decorated beautifully by All Trimmed Up. It matched Ann & Barclay’s colour scheme perfectly, and every bow on every chair was perfect. The room was full of all their closest family and friends creating an electric atmosphere of excitement and joy.
To lead the bridal party down the aisle a piper had been booked. He played at various points during the day to everyone’s delight. The ring bearer managed to carefully carry out his responsibility, entrusting the rings to the best man as he got to the end of the aisle. Finally, Ann came into the room. She looked stunning in her blue/grey dress and matching hat, every inch the Bride.
After the ceremony all the guests congregated outside where we stayed most of the day. It was such lovely weather, and the decking at the back if the venue made a perfect place for everyone to sit and enjoy the sun.
As the evening came, Ann and Barclay cut their cake followed by the first dance. They invited everyone to join them and that is where most people stayed for the whole evening. The dancefloor was always full of life, it was such a lovely way to end the perfect day.
