Sheffield Manor Lodge Wedding

Diane and Nathan had a beautiful summer wedding at Sheffield Manor Lodge. They were surrounded by their family and friends, and the sun shone for them all day.

On the morning of the wedding I met Diane at home where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. There was a definite air of excitement as the hair and makeup artists worked their magic. The accessories for this wedding were amazing. Diane had bought matching bags for each of her bridal party to use on the day, personalised so they didn’t get mixed up. The bridal shoes were personalised converse, complete with rainbow hearts, names and the wedding date. They were completely unique, and (according to Diane) were comfy all day.

When everyone was ready they climbed into the camper van wedding car to travel to the wedding venue. There, Nathan was waiting with the wedding guests under the marquee in the grounds of Sheffield Manor Lodge.

The weather stayed glorious for the outdoor wedding ceremony. As the bridal party made their way through the flowers and down the aisle, everyone was smiling. After the ceremony guests made their way to the upper level of the grounds for a prosecco reception, expertly managed by the mums.

While guests were enjoying their drinks we captured the group shots, followed by the couples photographs. Walking around the grounds without huge clouds hanging over us made a big change to the pre-wedding session. We meandered our way down to the main house where the wedding breakfast was taking place.

For the wedding breakfast Diane and Nathan had chosen an afternoon tea, which everyone enjoyed. The huge windows on the side of the building were all opened up, joining the inside and out. The day flew by and soon it was time for the first dance and cutting of the cake. The cake itself was unlike anything I’d ever seen - it was fantastic. It incorporated all the characters and themes that Diane and Nathan were looking for, including their dog.

Before I left the dance floor was full of people, it was such a great atmosphere.
