Helen and Joseph had a beautiful June wedding at Mosborough Hall, Sheffield.

On the morning of the wedding I met Helen and her bridal party in the Day Ready Room. This room is set up for bridal preparations, with lots of natural light, mirrors, lamps and space to hang all the dresses and suits before they’re worn.

The morning seemed to fly by, and soon it was time for Helen to get into her dress. She had a stunning strapless gown with a lace bolero over the bodice. The two sections were made for each other, and she looked perfect.

Downstairs Joseph was waiting in the wedding ceremony room with the wedding guests. There was a nervous excitement as the registrars announced the arrival of the bridal party. All eyes were on Helen and her Dad as they walked down the petal-scattered aisle. When they were exchanging vows, it felt as though they were the only two people in the room.

Following the wedding ceremony we all went into the grounds of Mosborough Hall to capture group shots and enjoy the canapes. Helen and Joseph had hired lawn games for the little ones, and they were a huge hit. When the drizzle came for a few minutes, guests split between the grounds and the conservatory – conveniently next to the bar!

After we’d captured all the formal photographs for the day, I started to mingle with the guests and capture them enjoying the wedding. There was lots of laughter, not least at the ‘Jaseph’ sunglasses. The wedding speeches kept everyone in stitches and set the atmosphere for the rest of the evening.

When I left, the dancefloor was packed, the photo booth had a long queue with guests choosing props and the courtyard was filled with people enjoying the last of the summer daylight. It was a perfect day.
