Helen & Joseph’s Pre-Wedding Session | Mosborough Hall Hotel, Sheffield

Helen and Joseph chose to have their pre-wedding session at their wedding venue, Mosborough Hall Hotel in Sheffield. Mosborough Hall has some perfect photography spots in its intimate grounds.

Mosborough Hall is a lovely stone building, built in the 12th century. It started life as a manor house, passing through many notable owners including Mary Boleyn (Ann Boleyn’s sister). In more recent times it has been taken over by the Best Western Hotel group, and undergone more modern fixtures including a glass conservatory. This conservatory houses a bar, and offers views of the garden and trees with very comfy chairs inside.

I met Helen and Joseph one afternoon in April. It was a lovely bright day, but had a chilly wind. In the car park we noticed some beautiful blossom trees that just had to make it into the final gallery for these two. It may not have been the most obvious photography spot, but the colours were too good to go to waste and the blossom was falling in the breeze.

As we explored the rest of the grounds we talked through some of their final wedding day plans, and what they still had left to organise before their summer wedding.

I’m very excited to capture their day in a few weeks’ time.
