Kenwood Hall Wedding
Jo and Caster chose Kenwood Hall in Sheffield for their wedding. It was a beautiful sunny day, surrounded by their friends and family.
I first met Jo and Caster at a wedding fayre at a Wedding Fayres Yorkshire wedding fayre a few years ago. We had a memorable conversation about the perils of wearing masks while sucking mints before chatting about their wedding day. A few days later they’d finalised their wedding venue and chose me to capture their day.
On the day of the wedding I met Jo and her bridal party at home where they were putting the finishing touches to their makeup. We then all travelled together to Kenwood Hall to meet the hairdresser and check in. The atmosphere started relaxed and became filled with nervous excitement the closer we got to the ceremony time.
When she entered the wedding ceremony room, Jo hugged her dad before running down the aisle to Caster (her Dad then walked down the aisle with the maid of honour!). It was a little touch that matched this couple completely.
After the ceremony we all spilled out into the grounds of Kenwood Hall. The grounds are stunning, and huge. There were games for the children and lots of space to play. We captured all the family shots before heading into the grounds to capture the couple portraits.
The wedding breakfast seemed to come around quickly. Caster had hand made the centre pieces from copper pipe, and they looked amazing. There was just enough time to capture some more images of the guests enjoying the grounds before the evening reception began, and everyone flooded to the dancefloor.
It was an absolutely perfect day.
