Burntwood Court Hotel Wedding
Kerry and Mark had a beautiful sunny wedding day at Burntwood Court Hotel, Brierley. They chose an early wedding ceremony so they could make the most of their day with their family and friends.
I met Kerry on the morning of the wedding at Burntwood Court Hotel. The bridal party was split across two rooms; bridesmaids took one while parents had the other. It was the perfect split for Kerry who could go between the busy and energy filled bridesmaid room and the quieter space. Having the additional space also meant she got to do a ‘first look’ with her ‘maids.
11am seemed to come around quickly, and all the guests were gathered in the chapel at Burntwood for the wedding ceremony. Mark was at the top of the aisle waiting for the arrival of the wedding party. The ceremony was beautiful, and full of smiles from everyone in the room.
After the ceremony we went outdoors to capture the group shots. These two had quite a list, so we’d decided to capture most of the shots before the wedding breakfast with a handful afterwards. This gave them plenty of time to relax with their guests during the drinks reception.
The wedding breakfast took place in the main hotel, and it was decorated beautifully. Kerry and Mark had chosen pink satin sashes for the back of the chairs, tall blossom trees as the table centrepieces and a white throne each for the top table. The tables were arranged around the light up dancefloor with the cake in the top corner. It was stunning.
When the wedding breakfast was over we finished capturing the formal shots before welcoming the evening guests. As the sun set across the outside tables, guests were enjoying the last of the summer warmth and busting some moves on the dancefloor.
