Burntwood Court Hotel Wedding
Kirsty and Gary's wedding took place in The Qube at Burntwood Court Hotel this spring.
On the morning of the wedding I met Kirsty and her bridal party getting ready in one of the rooms of Burntwood. In the background the TV was on showing the build up to the Royal Wedding. Kirsty and her ladies had a whole array of personalised items, from mugs and glasses to hangers for their dresses.
While they were all in the rooms the groomsmen were in the bar, each holding a pint. They were reminiscing about the stag do, and talking about the antics of the evening before.
Soon it was time for the ceremony. We walked across the car park for the wedding ceremony in The Qube, Burntwood. Kirsty looked stunning as she walked down the aisle towards Gary. After the ceremony we gathered in the garden to enjoy the sunshine. Kirsty’s dress twinkled every time she moved, it was magical.
Before the wedding breakfast began Kirsty had a gift to open. It was presented to her in a sparkly pink box, with her married name spelled in diamantes. Inside was a very practical but cute apron! On it were two owls in wedding attire and her name in glittery writing. It was the perfect gift to make sure there were no accidents on the wedding dress.
As the evening went on the evening guests began to arrive. They all gathered around the dancefloor which glowed different colours during the first dance. After the first dance guests joined the happy couple and showed off some of their best moves.
My favourite part of the day was Kirsty’s garter. It was blue and white with the Sheffield Wednesday badge – made especially for Gary. It came off early in the day, but rather than discard it, it was wrapped around the stem of the bridal bouquet.
