Leigh-Anne & Nathan | Wortley Hall hotel, Sheffield

Leigh-Anne and Nathan had a beautiful summer wedding at Wortley Hall in Sheffield, with their wedding ceremony taking place at St James Church, Ryhill.

The evening before the wedding I met Leigh-Anne and Nathan at Wortley Hall. They had family and friends visiting from around the country, and had decided to host a pre-wedding event for everyone staying at the hotel. It was a lovely relaxed evening with family and friends catching up with each other, and the perfect way to start the wedding celebrations.

On the morning of the wedding I met Leigh-Anne back at Wortley Hall where she was getting ready with her bridal party. Hair and makeup was well under way, and there was an excited nervous energy around the room. As the morning went on, we could see guests arriving in the car park to board one of the busses to St James Church.

Soon it was time for the bridal party’s departure. Rather than busses, they had wedding cars for their journey to the ceremony. When we arrived all the guests were seated and eagerly waiting for Leigh-Anne’s entrance. The ceremony was incredibly emotional and full of personal touches.

After the ceremony guests got back on the busses for the drinks reception at Wortley Hall. The wedding party stayed at church a little while to capture some group shots before joining in with the reception. At Wortley there was a harpist, and one of my personal favourites, an ice cream trike!

The day seemed to fly by and soon it was time for the first dance and cake cutting. Leigh-Anne and Nathan looked incredibly happy as they twirled around the dancefloor – soon to be joined by the rest of their guests as the party got into full swing.

It was an incredible day from beginning to end, and a pleasure to be a part of.
