Leigh-Anne and Nathan chose to have their pre-wedding session at their wedding venue, Wortley Hall Hotel in Sheffield.
We met at Wortley Hall on what turned out to be the only dry day of a very rainy week. To make the most of the dry weather, we began the session walking around the grounds together. Nathan pointed out a few of his favourite parts of the grounds before we started our walk, and we made sure to capture images in those areas.
As we made our way around the grounds we talked about the plans for their day. Leigh-Anne and Nathan are planning an evening party in addition to their full wedding day. With family attending from around the country, lots of their guests are staying at Wortley Hall the evening before the wedding. Rather than having guests scattered around the hotel, they’ve booked a room and organised a buffet for all the guests to have a good catch up before the wedding day. It’s such a lovely way to start the wedding celebration.
After we’d captured all the images needed, we headed into the bar to go through the final details of the day over a cuppa. Leigh-Anne is incredibly organised and had a full list of group shots already planned. All that was left to do was discuss whether the groups would be captured at the church or Wortley Hall itself.
I’m very excited to capture this wedding in a few weeks’ time – it’s going to be a lot of fun!
