Lindsay and Daniel had a gorgeous September wedding at Aston Hall Hotel in Sheffield. The sun shone all day, and everyone had the most amazing time.

I met Lindsay and Daniel when they were looking for wedding photographers on the Wedding Fayres Yorkshire virtual wedding fayres. The virtual wedding fayres were a completely new experience, Lindsay had seen my slot a few times, had asked a lot of questions which I was able to answer live, and decided that I was the photographer for them before I’d seen their faces!

When we did meet in person at their pre-wedding session, it was as though we’d known each other for ages.

On the morning of the wedding I met Lindsay in the bridal suite at Aston Hall Hotel. She was getting ready with her hair and makeup ladies, and having a very relaxed morning being pampered.

The morning seemed to fly by, and soon it was time to go downstairs for the outdoor wedding ceremony. The weather was stunning, the sun shone the whole way through the ceremony and kept shining for the rest of the day.

After the ceremony we captured the group shots and couples portraits in the stunning grounds at Aston Hall. Guests were making use of the patio area as the evening set in and the main room came to life. All the details Lindsay had put work into, from the ‘Up’ balloon to the Disney theme tea light holders decorating each table pulled the theme of the wedding together. It was just perfect.

For their evening entertainment Lindsay and Daniel had chosen to hire a photobooth and an ice cream bicycle, and it was an absolute hit! It was a gorgeous evening, and I was sorry to leave.
