Louise and Adam were married at Waterton Park Hotel, Wakefield on Easter Sunday. They decided to embrace the day and fill their wedding with Easter decorations and little touches.

I met Louise on the morning of the wedding in one of the rooms in Waterton’s main hotel building. She was getting ready with her bridal party and was running ahead of schedule. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, and everyone was ready to go in plenty of time for the ceremony.

Downstairs Adam was waiting with the rest of the guests for the arrival of the bridal party. When Louise walked down the aisle she beamed with happiness. The ceremony was filled with unforgettable personal touches and lots of laughter.

Following the wedding ceremony we walked across the bridge to the beautiful grounds of Waterton Park. There we captured all the formal photographs along with some more natural shots of the guests enjoying the day. It was such a gloriously sunny day nobody wanted to go back inside.

Upstairs, the wedding breakfast room looked amazing. It was full of springtime cheer. Each table has an Easter theme centrepiece and the children all had a full size Easter egg as their wedding favour. Each chair had a different ribbon tied to the back, in yellow, green, pink, blue and purple colours. The top table had decorations with ducks, rabbits, birds and eggs the whole way along it, with a grassed strip and candles tying the whole thing together. It created quite the impact, and guests were blown away as they walked through the doors for the wedding breakfast.

After the speeches I went back outside with the guests to capture some more natural photographs of them all enjoying the sunshine. It was soon time to head downstairs for the wedding evening reception. Louise and Adam had chosen to have a live singer alongside a DJ for their evening, and they did a great job of keeping the dancefloor full.

Everyone was either on the dancefloor or dancing at their tables. It was a brilliant atmosphere for the entire evening.
