Louska and Adam chose to have their pre-wedding session at their wedding venue, Burntwood Court Hotel in Barnsley South Yorkshire.
I first met Louska back when we were in year 7, and while we lost touch after school we were still connected via social media. When she was looking for a local wedding photographer, my name popped up and we began chatting about their upcoming day. It was lovely to catch up again.
On the day of the pre-wedding session we met at Burntwood Court Hotel. It was a drizzly spring day, and we started by heading straight to the chapel. The chapel at Burntwood is a gorgeous building, giving the feel of a church without the religious wedding ceremony. It’s beautiful and light, and can either be heavily decorated or left to its natural look – both work well for weddings.
This wedding will be a Twilight package, so the main venue is the Qube. We walked from the chapel over to the section of grounds we’ll have access to on the wedding day itself, just outside the Qube. Because of the recent rain the grounds were bursting with colour, and all the flowers had popped out. It was stunning.
After capturing the images we needed, we had a seat inside to go through the final details of their day. It’s going to be full of personal touches, and I can’t wait to see them all come to life.
