Delamere Manor Wedding
Poppy and Tim had a stunning winter wedding at Delamere Manor in Cheshire. They were surrounded by family and friends from all over the country.
The original plan for this wedding was to be a summer affair. However, when lockdown put a stop to that plan, Poppy & Tim decided to postpone their day for the following year. The next available weekend was in December, and rather than postpone further they decided to simply alter the colour scheme.
On the morning of the wedding I met Poppy at Delamere Manor. As I arrived she was having the finishing touches made to her hair, and her veil put in. The ceremony room was all set up with romantic fairy lights and with the addition of the Christmas Trees around the venue, it looked magical.
Guests arrived downstairs and were greeted by Tim before being shown to their seats. With friends and family coming from all over the country there was an excited buzz about the whole venue. When Poppy walked down the aisle everyone smiled. The ceremony was full of personal touches, including their own written vows.
After the ceremony we gathered the guests outside for a large group shot, followed by some smaller groups. We finished the formal photographs with portraits of the bride and groom in the grounds of Delamere. We could have walked for miles, but with the December light fading we decided to stick to just a few spots.
Back inside there was lots of opportunity to capture guests enjoying the day with some natural, documentary photography. There were two magicians – one for the children and another for the adults – along with a string quartet which played the whole day.
I ended the day on the dancefloor with the guests, dancing and singing along to the live band that played everyone’s favourite songs!
