In March, we got together with a few local wedding suppliers to create a styled session at Cannon Hall. We were able to use the walled gardens, conservatory and ball room to give you tonnes of ideas for your wedding at Cannon Hall.
Before the day began, our aim was to showcase some of the outdoor spaces Cannon Hall has to offer for their wedding packages. While the Deer Shelter has been used for weddings for a while, the walled garden has recently been licensed for wedding ceremonies, giving couples more flexibility for their outdoor wedding.
The typical British spring weather meant our initial plans were scuppered. While we were able to use the outdoor space for a short while, the wind picked up (which made the dresses look amazing) and the rain began to pour.
Luckily, Cannon Hall is an incredibly versatile venue. To escape the initial downpour we moved into one of the conservatories. These light spaces make the perfect backdrop for portraits, even in the rain. When it became clear the weather wouldn’t let up we moved the whole operation into the ballroom.
This is one of my favourite spaces in Cannon Hall. The oak panelling is broken up by a stunning fireplace, the tapestry on the far wall adds a pop of colour and the views from the balcony are unrivalled. It’s a completely different feel to the outside spaces, but is equally as beautiful.
In the end we created a series of images that showcase the best of this venue, and hopefully help couples to envisage their day here.
