Bev & Ralph’s Pre-Wedding Session | Monk Bretton Priory, Barnsley

posted in: Blog | 0

Bev & Ralph chose to have their pre-wedding session at Monk Bretton Priory in Barnsley at the end of November. They were planning a Christmas wedding between Christmas and the New year, and were very excited to tell me about their day.

I met Bev & Ralph in my Barnsley studio to talk through their wedding plans. As our meeting was in November, there was no guarantee that the weather would be fit to venture out in so we needed somewhere indoors! They told me all about their plans for their big family wedding at Whitely Hall Hotel. They were planning a ceilidh dance for the evening reception, and Bev had decided to keep the whole day a surprise for her parents.

When we’d gone through all the details of the day, we ventured outside to look at the weather. It was bitterly cold, but we decided to pop over to Monk Bretton Priory and brave the winter temperatures to capture some images together. I’m really glad we did, the sky looked amazing and Bev & Ralph looked incredibly happy together.

I’m very excited to see what their day brings. It will be the perfect way to end 2025.
