Cawthorne Church Wedding
Holly and Nick had a beautiful autumn wedding at Cawthorne Church with their reception at Cubley Hall Hotel, Penistone.
On the morning of the wedding I met Holly at her parents house where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Holly had chosen to wear her Mum’s veil for her day, and the ladies carefully unwrapped it before placing it over her head. It looked absolutely stunning, and was a beautiful sentimental moment.
In Cawthorne church Nick was waiting with the wedding guests for the bridal party to arrive. The wedding march began to play and they all made their entrance. At the wedding rehearsal we’d discussed the angles that Nick and Holly wanted to capture during their wedding ceremony. I stood in place, ready to photograph the emotions of the service.
After church we made our way to Cubley Hall. Sandra and the team had done an amazing job decorating the venue exactly how Holly and Nick had envisioned. As it was autumn, we got straight to work capturing the couple portraits in the grounds of Cubley Hall before the sun went down.
Inside, wedding guests were enjoying the drinks reception and having a good catch up with each other. It was a lovely atmosphere full of laughter. After the wedding breakfast and speeches, the evening guests began to arrive. The evening was a full party, with guests staying on the dancefloor the whole evening.
It was a beautiful autumn wedding day in the heart of Penistone.
