Horsleygate Hall Wedding
Andrew and Fran were married at St Andrews Church before their tipi wedding reception at Horsleygate Hall.
I met Andrew and Fran at the Sheffield Ice wedding event in 2017. Before the day was over we’d arranged a meeting to talk more in depth about their wedding photography. By the time we’d finished talking through all their plans I was so excited to be photographing their wedding.
On the wedding morning I met Fran at her mum’s house, not far from the church. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and meeting the bridesmaids at the wedding rehearsal a few days before the wedding meant we all already knew each other.
When we arrived at the church I found Andrew with his best man looking excited. He was chatting to all his guests as they arrived and had a huge smile on his face. As Fran walked down the aisle his smile became even larger. They were both beaming throughout the whole ceremony.
After the ceremony we made our way to Horsleygate Hall where the wedding reception was taking place. It wasn’t the warmest of days, and so the drinks reception took place in the beautiful barn. The string quartet that had played during the ceremony continued to entertain guests as we started on the family photographs.
Walking around the grounds photographing Andrew & Fran was one of the highlights of my day. It was clear they were meant to be together just by the way they looked at each other.
The evening reception began, and the dancefloor in the tipi became a hive of activity. Shut up and Dance by Walk the Moon was Andrew & Fran’s first dance – and all the guests took it upon themselves to keep dancing all night!
