Ben and Molly chose to have their pre-wedding session at their Sheffield wedding venue, Wortley Hall Hotel.
I met Molly and Ben on a cool February morning at Wortley Hall. The clouds looked a little ominous, so we began the session by exploring the grounds together. The long walk around Wortley Hall wasn’t something they’d done before, so that’s the route we decided to go with.
We began close to the car park, up the stone steps where the lavender grows and through the walled garden before seeing the pond and wooded area. I love to finish the circuit through the rose garden, making full use of the bench with the rhododendrons and a final image outside the beautiful building itself.
After we’d explored every corner of the grounds, we headed inside for a hot drink and to discuss the details of the wedding day. We went through the wedding timeline, and created a list of group shots. We also spoke about the logistics of the day; with a few grandparents attending we decided the best place to capture their formal photographs would be indoors and out of the cold.
It’s going to be a stunning day, I can’t wait for next month to capture every moment for these two!
