Bagden Hall Hotel Wedding
Claire and Dale had a beautiful summer wedding at Bagden Hall Hotel.
On the morning of the wedding I met Claire and all her bridesmaids getting ready in a large room inside Bagden Hall. There was a nervous excitement among everyone in the room as they all anticipated the day ahead. Hair and makeup was expertly organised, with three ladies all working at the same time to make sure everyone was ready in plenty of time for the ceremony.
It was soon time to head down to the ceremony room where Dale and the wedding guests were waiting. As Claire came into the room there were smiles and happy tears from the guests. It was an emotional ceremony, but soon the newlyweds were walking back down the aisle with huge smiles on their faces.
Outside games had been organised. There was football and badminton, and everyone had a good time playing various versions of the games while the group shots were taking place. While the guests were entertained I went around the grounds with Claire & Dale to capture their couple’s photographs. The willow tree they so loved on their pre-wedding session was still in a beautiful condition, with most of its leaves still intact, so we made this a big part of the wedding portraits.
After we’d captured all the photographs they’d requested we went indoors for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The speeches were an emotional rollercoaster, with everyone in fits of laughter one second and shedding a tear the next. The best man’s speech made sure everyone ended on a hilarious note to carry on into the evening.
The evening reception arrived in what felt like a second, with the DJ announcing the first dance. Guests joined in, and stayed on the dancefloor all evening, showing everyone their best moves!
