Holly and Ben had a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony at Holiday Inn Barnsley.

I met Holly and her bridesmaids at her Mum’s house on the morning of the wedding. The bridesmaid dresses could be fastened in lots of ways, and everyone was having fun trying to work out which way suited them best while keeping each one different. When Holly came downstairs in her dress, the atmosphere in the room changed to complete excitement.

At the Holiday Inn Barnsley, Ben was busy greeting all the guests. It had been a drizzly morning, so the staff had set up the ceremony room indoors. However, after speaking to the registrars and looking at the forecast again it was decided that the wedding would take place outside. After a quick turnaround, and chairs being laid outside, everything was ready for the Brides arrival.

Holly was so happy when she realised she would be able to have her outdoor wedding at the Holiday Inn Barnsley. Her smile grew as she walked down the aisle to Ben and they spent the whole ceremony beaming at each other. As they were signing the register spots of rain began to appear. We had just enough time to capture the big group photograph before the heavens opened and the rain poured.

Luckily the Holiday Inn has just as many lovely backdrops inside as out, and so we finished all the group and couples shots indoors.

After the wedding breakfast and speeches the rain subsided a little and we had the opportunity to go into the grounds to capture (what turned out to be rather fun) photographs. Back inside the DJ had everyone on the dancefloor, and the guests were showing off their moves right into the evening.
