Holly and Nick chose to have their pre-wedding session at their wedding venue, Cubley Hall in Sheffield. They brought along their daughter so we could explore the grounds of this lovely wedding venue together and create some family photographs.
I met Holly and Nick in the car park at Cubley Hall hotel. It hadn’t been the best day weather-wise, but luckily it stayed dry for the duration of our outdoor session. We began in the band stand, a perfect spot to capture the views over the hills. From there we walked over to one of my favourite spots of Cubley Hall, the huge tree next to the stone wall.
Around the side of the main building – next to the children’s playground – is a long tree lined path leading to the main road. Holly and Nick told me that they loved this section of the grounds, so we made sure to make a note to capture lots of photographs there on their wedding day.
After we’d captured the images we needed we spent some time talking about the details of the wedding. These two are to be married at Cawthorne Village church before travelling in wedding cars over to Cubley for the wedding breakfast and reception.
We put together a list of group shots they’d like to capture, and whether they’d prefer to capture them at church or at Cubley. There’s a real mix of images and I’m very excited for their wedding day – it’s going to be beautiful.
