Jade and Steven chose to have their pre-wedding session at their wedding venue, Whitley Hall Hotel. It was a drizzly day, but after spending some time in the bar area we managed to find a dry five minutes outdoors to capture some beautiful shots.
One of the highlights of this Whitley Hall pre-wedding session was that I also got to meet Jade and Steven’s daughter, Darcy, again. She’s grown up into such a happy baby, and pulls the most adorable faces! I can’t wait to photograph her on the wedding day, she never fails to make me smile.
Whitley Hall Hotel
Whitley Hall Hotel is a 16th century mansion, covered in ivy. There are numerous photo spots in their grounds, including the impressive front of the house and the lake. If you’re lucky the peacocks that wander around the grounds may even come to say ‘Hello!’ Inside the rooms are all in keeping with the 16th Century feel, covered in wood or original stonework.
The hotel has capacity for a maximum of two weddings per day. They are always separated in both the building and the grounds, you’ll even get your own entrance to make sure your day keeps its privacy. Both sides of the hotel are equally picturesque, they’re simply split into the larger and smaller side making sure all wedding parties can be catered for.
