Jess & Alex | Yorkshire Sculpture Park Wedding, Wakefield

It’s been 7 months since we were able to share our last real wedding with you all, so we’re very excited to be sharing Jess & Alex’s day today. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Jess & Alex decided to go ahead with a covid secure wedding at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, West Yorkshire, in November.

As with many couples in 2020, their wedding day plans didn’t go exactly to plan. With the announcement of Lockdown 2.0, Jess & Alex decided to bring their wedding forward. They enlisted the help of their families to contact wedding suppliers while they were at work, and were able to plan their day in just 24 hours.

The ceremony was held in the Roger Evans Auditorium inside the main building at YSP. 15 guests attended the wedding ceremony, and Jess’ dog was the one to walk her down the aisle! After the ceremony we were able to catch the last of the winter sun and explore the grounds of Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

It may not have been the wedding they’d originally planned, but it was a perfect day focused on love, family and positivity for the future.
