Karyn & Andy chose to have their pre-wedding shoot in Wentworth. We decided to use both their venues – Wentworth church and The Rockingham Arms as well as the surrounding areas. The walk between the two buildings is full of picture perfect spots.
As we were walking around Wentworth together we decided to venture off the normal path and up into the fields. From here we managed to capture a beautiful shot of the church spire amongst the trees, something we’ll definitely replicate on the day (weather depending!).
We had such a lovely day wandering around Wentworth for the pre-wedding shoot, and I’m looking forward to capturing these two on their wedding day later this month.
Wentworth Church
Wentworth Church is found tucked away off the main path in Wentworth. It is a beautiful building with stunning outside spaces. There is ample car parking both on the lane up to church and in Wentworth car park. The main Sunday service takes place at 10:45 each week with special services throughout the year. The church is also open during daylight hours for visitors to privately worship or take in the history of the building.
Rockingham Arms
The Rockingham Arms is a 19th Century pub at the heart of the village of Wentworth. The attached barn makes a beautiful rustic backdrop for any wedding day. Suitable for small to medium wedding parties, the barn comes with its own private bar and resident DJ. The private garden area is a perfect spot for photographs, and they even have a BBQ option for outdoor summer weddings. The outdoor space is perfect for enjoying the summer sunshine on your wedding day.
