Lindsay & Daniel chose to have their pre-wedding session at Sheffield Botanical Gardens a few months before their wedding day.
Sheffield Botanical Gardens is a gorgeous place for any session. Lindsay’s Grandfather had worked on the construction of the railings here, so it holds an extra significance for her. The grounds are huge, with lots of options for backgrounds and places to explore. The highlight is definitely the large greenhouse; the paths all leading to it make it the centre of attention.
I met Lindsay and Daniel at the entrance to the gardens. We walked up the paths together, and they showed me their favourite spots. We particularly liked the stone water fountains and bright flowers in the curated flower beds. It was a lovely morning walking around with them both and admiring the gardens.
When we’d captured all the images needed we sat on one of the many benches to talk about the details of their day. They’re to be married at Aston Hall Hotel in September, hopefully with an outdoor wedding ceremony (weather permitting).
It’s bound to be an amazing day, and I’m very excited to capture it.
