Finding the perfect honeymoon destination can be a difficult decision. There are so many beautiful places to go in the world, and they all have their up and down sides. To help with your decision, we asked two travel consultants what their top honeymoon destinations were, and why.

The Maldives is a firm favourite for honeymooners as these beautiful islands offer a total escape from reality. With crystal clear sea, pristine white sand combined with luxurious accommodation and privacy, it’s the ideal place to relax and unwind.

There is a range of accommodation from beach bungalows to over water villas with private pools and a butler – the height of luxury! Most resorts offer all-inclusive packages and include watersports and diving – or you can be enjoy being pampered in the spa.

The idyllic island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean has some of the best palm fringed beaches in the world and sparkling sapphire blue water. Saint Lucia
