We wanted to talk to you about one of our favourite wedding subjects: Shoes. Choosing bridal shoes for your wedding day can be a minefield. There are lots of different styles, designers and price points too. Here we’ve taken 8 of our favourite wedding shoes from our real brides.
Flat Sandals from Dune
Louise chose this pair of white, flat sandals from Dune. They were decorated with pretty leather flowers, gems and butterflies too. Because they were flat, walking from the church to the wedding reception was simple – even with a woodland path on the route.
Coloured Heels from Charlotte Mills
Laura wore this beautiful pair of Charlotte Mills heels on her day. All Charlotte Mills wedding shoes come with a sixpence built inside, so you’ll always have the sixpence in your shoe.
Heart Low-Heels from Rainbow Club
Julie chose this pair of Rainbow club shoes for her wedding. They had a sparkle to them, a heart on the toes and like all Rainbow club shoes, a sixpence in the sole. Rainbow club also offer a colouring service, so your shoes can be dyed to match any colour after your wedding day.
Low Heeled Sandals from Office
Fran’s bridal shoes were simple, low heel sandals. They matched the colour of her dress perfectly, and the strap around the ankle kept them safely in place right into the evening.
Sparkle Heel Court Shoes from M&S
These wedding ready court shoes had a secret panel of sparkle inside the heel, giving Sam the touch of glamour she was looking for. They’re simple, elegant and come at a good price too.
Nick Of Time from Irregular Choice
The Nick Of Time shoes were Karyn’s choice for her day. They’re white, glittery heels with a huge bow on the front too. She swapped into them after walking to church, and kept them on her feet for the rest of the day.
White Pumps from Converse
Claire couldn’t wear any sort of heel on her wedding day, so she opted for white converse. They were comfy from the morning right through to the end of the night, and looked amazing under her blush dress.
Pink Glitter Pumps from Primark
Gemma chose to have two pairs of shoes on her day, but we thought her pink glitter pumps deserved a mention. During the evening she changed from her bridal shoes into these – and so did her daughters. They’d wanted to wear matching shoes all day, and this was their moment!
No matter what shoes you choose for your day make sure that they’re comfortable, and practical for your wedding plans. And if you really can’t choose one pair, there’s always the option of changing into something different during the evening!
