I’ve been photographing weddings for almost 10 years. Being a Huddersfield wedding photographer has meant that I’ve learnt a lot about holding a wedding in Huddersfield; including venues, local suppliers and travel arrangements.

315 Bar & Restaurant is a modern venue with on-site spa. It can be booked for a full day wedding, or just for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. The woodlands and gardens outside have a breathtaking view of the surrounding trees and fields, making it a perfect spot for photographs.

Bagden Hall Hotel is a Victorian Country house set in 40 acres of grounds. Its elevated position means you can see for miles around. It has a lakeside lodge, a nature reserve and lots of beautiful photo spots. As well as the hall itself, The Little Folly by the lake is also licensed for ceremonies. It’s a perfect spot for an intimate wedding, while the guests all watch from across the bridge at the water’s edge.

Standedge Tunnel & Visitor centre is a unique wedding venue in Huddersfield. Along with all the things you’d expect from a wedding venue, here you can also experience the narrow canal. Choose to arrive on one of the canal boats, or take your guests on an exclusive tour of the Huddersfield narrow canal during the day. Inside it has been beautifully decorated for any wedding, and the surrounding area is perfect for photographs on dry land.

The Three Acres Inn can cater for a wedding of any size. With their private dining rooms and option for marquee in the grounds, there’s no party too small for this venue. The wedding breakfast is created with the help of the chef, and is personalized to your taste. Outside there’s a beautifully kept garden, sheltered from the wind, and from the car park you can see for miles, giving the perfect opportunity for photographs.

The Venue is a modern wedding venue in Huddersfield. Set in the grounds of Storthes Hall Park, they can cater for weddings of all sizes. With free onsite parking, a license for ceremonies and the option to erect marquees for extra large weddings it’s a unique and diverse setting for any wedding.

The Woodman Inn is a refurbished 18th Century venue in the hamlet of Thunderbridge. In addition to their main wedding packages, they also offer a bespoke service allowing you to have full control over every aspect of your day. The surroundings are stunning with endless opportunities for photographs. The wedding party has first refusal of their 19 en-suite rooms and the bridal suite is offered to each couple free of charge.
Charlotte was the best photographer we could’ve wished for! She was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire day and gave us so much guidance and support. Our images are stunning! - Charlotte did a wonderful job photographing our wedding recently. From the moment we initially contacted her, she was so helpful and responsive to emails. The pre-wedding shoot was a great opportunity to discuss the sort of photos we wanted on the day and certainly made us more comfortable in front of the camera on the big day. On the day itself Charlotte was a fab person to have around. She went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly and was a calming and supportive presence whilst my wife-to-be was getting ready.
