I met Devon and Steven at All Saints Church in Wath for their wedding rehearsal and pre-wedding session.
Combining the pre-wedding session with their wedding rehearsal at Wath church worked really well for this couple. Between the church and car park is a lovely grassed area, with trees and a path through. Combined with the architecture of the church, it made a beautiful backdrop for the photographs.
As the session was taking place we chatted about the various places that we’d photograph on the day itself. They both have some wonderful ideas, and I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding at the end of the week!
Wath Church
All Saints Parish Church was built over 1000 years ago, and has been helping the community seek help, worship, pray and giving support ever since. Its name appears in the Doomsday Book, although the exact date of it being built is unknown. There is a car park just a minutes’ walk away from the main entrance, and the church itself is fully accessible. It’s a stunning venue for a religious wedding ceremony.
