Christmas shopping is looking a little different this year. Usually, we’re telling you about local craft fayres and giving advice on supporting small businesses. While the Christmas fayres have all been cancelled, there are still lots of local suppliers selling their work online.
We’ve put together our first ever Christmas guide, complete with links so you can easily support local businesses from the comfort of your own sofa.
(All businesses are listed alphabetically under their category – we love them all equally!)
There’s so much jewellery to choose from on the high street, but there’s nothing quite like a hand-made piece. We’ve split this category into two sections: metals (silver, gold, and platinum) and alternative (paper, wool and textiles). If you’re looking to commission a piece, contact the sellers direct.
Crafting Kits & Supplies
Know someone who loves crafting? From knitting to needle felting, these guys have you covered!
We didn’t really know what to call this section, but ‘artwork’ seems to sum it up nicely. We have portrait commissions, digital artists, cartoon style sketches and witty illustrations. These artists offer a whole range of products displaying their work, from mugs and magnets to books and wall art. (We’ve done an awful job at explaining this one – you’ll have to take a look!)
Homeware, Candles & Diffusers
This section showcases gifts for the home, including candles, diffusers, wax melts, ornaments and homeware. (And let’s face it, who doesn’t love a good candle at Christmas?)
Flowers, Christmas Decorations & Wreaths
For the person who has everything, or to add to your own Christmas decorations, these suppliers stock flowers, decorations and wreaths for the perfect Christmas gifts.
Who doesn’t love a bit of music at Christmas? In this section you’ll find talented musicians, all selling their work over the festive period. There’s a mix of Christmas soundtracks and music for all year around too.
And as always you can find our Gift Cards Here.
We’ll be adding to this list as we find more amazing businesses, but for now stay safe, and shop local.
If you’d like to be added to the list, use the contact page to get in touch.
